Lmao that's funny...they enjoy being Barney Fife.

If he really had empathy, he would say something like "sorry boss, just following orders", or give advice on the laws and how to avoid future tickets.

I've had nice LEOs do those things, that's being professional. It's comparable as truck drivers, a few polite professionals, but most are smug, selfish a holes.

This just reinforces my belief that law enforcement is more concerned with revenue generation rather than protect and serve.

They are serving by issuing a ticket to someone who didn't read/comprehend a sign that is posted for a reason.

    You keep thinking that.

I bet he passed 4 murder scenes to write that parking ticket.

The ticket goes to the license plate, not the driver. I've gotten tickets in Chicago for parking while getting something from some fast food joint. It's written to the vehicle.

Schneider got billed for a red light ticket by the chassis company. But it was like 60 days after the time to contest it. SNI told BD they were going to charge me back the amount. After having a conversation with my DBL, SNI ate the ticket because I never had a chance to defend myself. (They sped up the yellow light time to 1.8 secs and it should of been a min of 2 secs.)

The way i read it, he was issued the ticket, not Schneider. Now if the ticket was issued to Schneider obviously it won't effect his license. But then Schneider will just deduct it from his settlement and gets the rep as a guy that doesn't handle things properly, tho I'm not sure how much a person's reputation matters at a mega like big orange.

Yeah I'm not gonna worry much about my "rep" at the pumpkin.

I took it as the ticket was left on his windshield. If that's the case I'd just take the chance it gets lost in the paperwork shuffle. Lol. If they take it out 6 months down the road so be it.

Because he doesn't know. It's the weekend do you think any useless govt bureaucrat will be working to enter the ticket into the system.

Let's not forget Schneider will put any and all on a drivers record.

So by not paying it then it may still follow him.

As for LEO's having more important things to do NOT every LEO can investigate a murder nor chase bad guys. Most departments put Light duty personnel on parking duty or even those ready or close to retirement.

But then again as drivers how many times have we pulled into somewhere and a 4 wheeler was making it difficult for us to park because they were parked illegally and we wanted a cop to do the parking enforcement job.

Either way if FW was in the wrong then why is it the LEO's fault for doing his or her job.
