There's some here very successful, there's some barely making it by.
It is up to you if you will be successful.
We can bring our trucks elsewhere if we wanted to, bare that in mind when reading others comments.
Another important factor is where u live and how often you want to get home.
If you wanted to be home every weekend in Wichita, Ks vs say Columbus, OH would mean a monumental difference.

I'm very curious, what is the freight availability in the Northern Virginia/DC area?

Not much in the immediate dc, northern VA area it's mostly in Winchester and some in Baltimore. It just pays lousy leaving.

No doubt about that. 92 cents a mile gone before you can even bend over.

I can't believe how much freight came to a halt this week! I sat in Columbus most of the day yesterday trying to find something worth running, and there was nothing, at least worth running in my business plan. Took a #### relay today out of the Obetz yard more or less just to do something. Freight slowed down in the reefer world first quarter, but ####!! Nothing like this

It'll get even slower, Schneider will hold freight until they're positive a company truck can't do it then dump it on the board.

I had 11 loads from same shipper this past week saved in my favorites.

Within 1 minute of confirmation all 11 were gone.

They've over saturated the board to fill empty trucks.

It's not about us being profitable only them.

Either way I'm a short timer, once lease is complete I'm gone.
