    It appears this is very true. I take mt's home every weekend, sometimes with nothing booked, nothing said. I never complain when they ask me to do a trailer move either. Not sure if if that plays a role or not.

    I also wondered about keeping an empty when your home the market that you may live in... I don't know if there are just meeting trailers more and starting markets than others all the time...

    Waiting to retake hazmat if you must know.. already approved just have to get that. Probably go this coming week...roll on

    You don't have to wait. Landstar will allow 90 days after orientation to get Hazmat cert.

    That's not what my recruiter told me but the process has been loong.. They take forever to approve you. Clean record and all

    Way I understand it is, they now require you to have it even before you start. A friend of mine got suck at the house for a few weeks because he didn't get it renewed in time. The bad part is he never picks Haz loads.

    Edit to add: He has been working for LS for several years.

    That's how SNI was. When I first came 5 years ago I couldn't get my truck until I got my hazmat.. Now that don't require it anymore..I took it off when I moved a couple years ago.. Had to retake the test and I wasn't up for it lol
