Call corporate. The local newspaper. The local television stations. The major new networks like cnn and fox news. The mayors office. Your state congressman and senator. Your US cangessman and senator. And make some face book posts. This hotel owner needs all the attention you can get him.

 

Small claims hell. He is emotional scarred and will need years of therapy.

 

Well, yes, that's obvious. Proving that it's solely the hotels fault would be tricky. Aggravating a pre-existing condition doesn't get you 6 figures plus.

 

Yeah it's a bad deal. No doubt about it. The locals in the area also know about the local portable meth labs that are set up in cheap motels. That's what's in the news on a daily basis. Doesn't make it right just reality. What do you want a congressman and senator to do? At the most would make a good human interest story in the news. Calling everyone under the sun because you are denied a 39.95 bed bug ridden motel room seems a bit extreme.

 

Could be wrong, but my sarcasm meter was pinging pretty good after reading his post.

You do realize that area is a national disaster zone right now right? Thousands of homes burnt down. Common freaking sense says some of those families might need to rent a hotel room, and some douchebag hotel that is pissing on his community should be called out on it.

Lots of attention on these things is a good thing. Maybe next time the fire marshal is doing the annual inspection and finds an empty extinguisher and lose banister he recalls what a jerkoff this guy is and does more than gives a verbal warming.

 

Nope. I was dead serious. This situation reminds me of the Chinese restaurant asking a table of police officers to not come back cause they made their other customers nervous. That went viral and next thing ya know that restaurant owner is begging for the locals to return, it was just a misunderstanding due to a language barrier.

When businesses show disdain for their local communities, they need reminded that it was the locals that allowed them to build that business in the first place.

 

Oh my god. I stand by my original post. Lol. Your right we should call for congressional hearings. There has been national telethons, Dolly has offered 1,000 dollars a month for everyone who lost a home and your calling for a national boycott of Redroof Inn.
