That's the same thing as Power only. With these rates it's not worth the risk.

We can't get our own Authority and run under it to haul loads but we can Trip lease.

But trip leasing you use the authority of another carrier not yours.

To much hassle to many hoops and not worth it for me.

    I'm looking to leave clean.
But I'll dirty it up if pushed.

Get the wife to get her authority and lease on to her. Problem solved.

I think you can pretty much stick a fork in the choice program.

    I wouldn't say that.
As a new contractor on the Choice program I can say it's way better than the company I was running with previously(PRIME).
I just received my first settlement with SCNN,and was pleasantly surprised to find no hidden fees and they actually paid me what they owed me.

The system seems straight forward and easy to learn.
I'm leaning heavily on another contractor who was kind enough to mentor me.
The rates are low in some areas but I suppose that is to be expected in this market at this time of year.
I'm not a lease guy,I learned my lesson on that with PRIME and bought my own truck.
I guess you could say that it's somewhat easier with a monthly payment.
    But again I am new.

Your being new is why you're optimistic.

Wait 6 months and as you'll see NOTHING stays the same at Schneider.

In a year you'll be making less than you are now and you'll have experienced all the headaches we mention.

It's good to a newbie but from what it was to what it is there's no comparison.

It's not the market or economy it's SCHNEIDER making the changes because they're greedy that's why the choice program is declining.

They won't even fill out a Carb compliance letter any longer.

Customer service is ran by a football and a monkey.

Box planners are color blind and deaf.

Corporate is just waiting on the money train.

And the OC's are as bad as any 3rd world trucking companies headquarters.

Coming from prime to choice is a step up from what I've heard but don't fret, Schneider will be going to a prime type system for training drivers by 2019.

Enjoy the downside of the coaster because the upside was tore down.

    But Welcome aboard.
