It seems that if it's in an Orange trailer it's bad.
Funny thing is Schneider has contract freight which means rate is set only fsc is variable.
So with fuel going up and rates set per contract, OUR rate per mile should be going up not down.
So why are they going down?
I've been told it's because of what freight lanes are Paying not contracts.
So Schneider and competitors say a lane from Dallas to Laredo pays 1.60 per mile but the same return trip pays 1.30 per mile. Same distance, route and costs but less revenue.
So it's never based on Market it's always based on lane capacity.Bo Hunt Thanks this. -
Lmao I'm still stuck on 4800 in 5 days.. Well 4.5 days
TennMan Thanks this. -
4800 in 5 is 960 average per day and a highly skeptical average.

If you want to successful. Get out of pulling dry Van. With the new administration coming in. Fuel prices will rise and the rates will stay the same. Some drivers are praying for fuel prices to rise. They say they make more.
-
Fuel has been rising for 6 months or more but Schneider fsc dropping.

As for the Orientation thing, driver numbers were issued the first day.
Number with your name was where you sat, fuel cards were issued late on weds.
We had a small class, don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
I have no reason to lie, just wanted to share as I was happy with my first week here on choice.
It's all fine though,I'm an adult and expect stuff like this from this forum.
One other thing I don't whine about how rates are down,I don't like it but I make do.
I have a low bottom line, money in the bank and the drive to get things done.
So carry on and enjoy your day.Last edited: Jan 20, 2017
