I went back and edited my post, personal attacks don't do anyone any good.
I apologize to Duddie and TennMan for my previous comments,I lost my temper and frame of mind.
Also to Freightwipper for tying up his thread.
I made what I made but I did count $150 extra that was for orientation.
So my numbers were off a smidge.
As for the hours I logged in orientation, the third day was up in the air as a few of us were pretty much done.
We logged it as we were told.
My intentions were not to start a argument,I will curb my enthusiasm in the future.
Like someone stated before, you have to take the good with the bad.
I was reporting a good week, not a lot of people do that anymore.
So that's it I'm out.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

So the program became over saturated with people who,
A. CAME ONBOARD THINKING IT WAS EASY OR IS EASY.
B. USE THIS SITE TO RECRUIT BECAUSE IT'S EASY MONEY.
C. FAIL AFTER 1 OR 2 MONTHS THEN TURN IN THEIR TRUCKS. (SEE CHARLOTTE'S USED TRUCK DEALERSHIP, ONCE KNOWN AS AN OC.).
D. SCHNEIDER SEE'S THE THREAD AND THE UNBRIDALED ENTHUSIASM FOR THE CHOICE BOARD SO THEY CONTINUE TO RUN IT INTO THE GROUND BECAUSE WHAT THE HECK, AS LONG AS THERE'S PLENTY OF INTEREST AND DRIVERS WILLING TO CONTINUE TO COME HERE WHY IMPROVE THE CHOICE BOARD.
E. ALL OF THE ABOVE.
Hint this quiz is graded on a curve and all answers are correct.Home_on_wheels, sealevel, rock hopper and 1 other person Thank this. -
And take us on here with a grain salt or is that grain alcohol, either way for those of us who've been here awhile we been thru these discussions before and usually the numbers are inflated or there's something from the story missing.
I really hope you do well, just be forewarned that may be your best week.
I just did a smidgen under 5100 for today's settlement BUT 1900 of it was for detention, trailer moves and load cancellations as well as 1 load they did not pay last week so in the real world I did 3200 or so but I could've just posted the gross and never mentioned reality so someone looking for a high dollar figure to come here could contact me but I don't do that.
I'll give good and the bad, unfortunately there's more bad from my perspective than good now days.
And it's always Orange shine, never Kool-aid.rock hopper Thanks this. -
That's a mismash of revenue.
But it's all money in the bank, and that sir is the name of the game.scythe08 Thanks this. -
However personal attacks is the only thing I'd appreciate not being spewed by anyone.drvrtech77, Home_on_wheels, TennMan and 1 other person Thank this. -
@rock hopper , I wouldn't mind learning some little bit more about your truck, if you don't mind. Specs, price, dealer, are you happy with the interior? I'm sorry if you've already stated it. I'm researching equipment. I haul tanks so my setup will be different because I have to add a PTO pump and compressor, plus HIT and tool boxes
-
Here's a few pics of the interior.
I'm happy with it,I plan on running regional rather than OTR.
Truck already has a PTO,I was looking for one that could do tanker just in case.
-
Did they make you wait to put your truck on.....
Rumors say they have many lease trucks available .. -
I guess, but I had to complete my lease at PRIME so it worked out.
I took off half of December and then hit Orientation when they gave me the green light.
They have a ton of lease trucks but others here would know better than me.
I've only been to 2 OC's.
Carlisle and Green Bay,they had lots of lease trucks new and used lined up. -
Has anyone ever seriously logged orientation as on duty? Lol. Those paper logs during orientation are comic books
scythe08 Thanks this.
