Bingo! I never doubted the numbers but when I saw the miles I quit caring. Commendable numbers none the less. You shouldn't have to run those miles and figure out Nuclear codes to do it. The problem is were not owner operators anymore around here.
@TennMan is correct. It has become a company sponsored program for company drivers looking to make a few hundred more bucks While assuming all risks.
It's more than just a bad market. Now SNI is dictating what trucks. First change was EPA compliant no gliders. Now it sounds like in order to lease on it has to be beyond compliant. Little things keep adding up. At some point costs have to stop rising if rates are going to continue to go down.
Not trying to bash SNI. Overall they have been a exceptional company to work with. But it's changing and changing fast.
I'm just not willing to run a perfectly good paid for truck into the ground anymore pulling their cheap ### freight.
This is where you are so right. Instead of doubting the numbers, look at what's wrong with them in the first place.

Yea that's a better explanation lol. I was like huh I'd love to gross that and be home at least Fri -sun.. But yea the miles were definitely too much.. But hey I'll settle for my 3300 with a little less than 2000 miles and home in my bed on 3 days a week lol for now

Yea i am only because of one customer that's right in my backyard and it's good paying load.. But I'm starting to see CS play games on when the loads hit the board.. So it's definitely work and discipline but I always keep multiple lanes i can run in the stash so if this dries up I'll go to my old Lane.. But I have only 7 more months of payments so I'm not running my truck into ground with cheap bs.. i rather make what I know I need and extra to save and be home..I can't get my head around being on the road for 7 days looking at bs freight..I rather be home with the kids.. some drivers might frown at 3300 but thats home Fri to Monday.. I'll take that over 4500 and I've ran 3000 miles lmao

I'm trying every other week at this point with a goal of $3500 without having to run 3000 mikes for it lol. 8 months and counting :p

I can gross 3500 on less than 2,500 miles still most of the time and if I run 3,000 miles I'm gross and over 4,000... Then again I don't run the Northeast

I may leave the industry all together...I was asking about turning my truck in early because my sister could have gotten me into her company as an insurance adjuster...only around $50k to start, but I'd get a company car, home every night with the family. I didn't jump ship because I hate breaking commitments, but if they end up opening up another position in the near future, and things continue as they have been lately here, I'm contemplating throwing my hand in here.
I could also go back to my old DOD position fairly easy within 3 years of separation, but I cringe at the thought every time I think of that lol. That was another awesome job that was screwed up by upper management...too many guys in the good ole boys club there promoting their brothers and son in laws that have zero clue what they are doing.

Anyway, off of my rant lol.

I don't know how many of you others have gotten these... I get email alerts when loads confirm and I've gotten several loads recently saying the load is confirmed yet it's showing the load is already a day late... Frankly I think that's the most ignorant thing I've ever seen... No #### Wonder why contracts are being cancelled
