Neither do I sir lol. I'll run up to I 90 in Upstate NY now and then, and PA since I live here, but the only times I've gone into NJ/NY metro suburbs since I've been here were for high paying promo loads, and I LOATHE New England, so haven't been there.

Not to get political on here, but pretty much if it's a Blue state, I really want no part of it. My personal politics aside(after all, business is business lol), all of the Blue states, IMO, are very trucker unfriendly...###hole DOT, lack of parking, dumber than usual 4 wheelers, etc. has to pay really well for me to deal with the BS.

And what I'm going to say is I'm not sticking up for Schneider but I've had other companies large and small companies including the last company I was with prior to coming over here that only has a hundred and thirty trucks where it seems the communication in the office is for all intents and purposes completely nonexistent... to where loads are always late because they couldn't figure out what the hell they were doing in the office...i just think there's too many clueless fools at work in these offices anymore and it's getting worse

My last company was small...approx 25 trucks, and while they were decent, sometimes they seemed to have the mentality of book the load now, worry about making appt times later. One of the last loads I did there, they expected me to make it from San Juan, TX to Greentown, PA in 2 days...needless to say, the broker was pissed! I cringed every two hours he would call and ask for an update, only to tell him,"No, I'm still not going to make it".

I took two years off out of this industry several years ago to go to school and I can tell you right now I seen a lot of the same crap with the places I was working at while going to school and shortly after... it just seems to be that the General Public is getting Dumber by the minute for whatever darn reason it is

Absolutely...every job has its idiots and share of BS. I sound like a broken record, but I left the DoD and got into trucking specifically for this program...wanted to take a shot at running my own game. However, it's clear that with every step SNI takes, they are trying to assume more control...I was at the Carlisle OC last week and wanted to check and adjust my tire pressures, but there was no chuck on the line. I went into the shop and asked the head tech to borrow one, and he had to come out and adjust my tires due to SNI policies, even though I'm an IC. Made me feel like someone's grandma lmao

Technology. Too many electronic devices doing everything for us, and they're killing our communication skills.
