Not arguing but did the mom and pops ask you to sign the line on a 1.2 million dollar spaceship then ask you to deliver 1.20 a mile freight. Just wondering?

Can you make decent money right from the start there off of the board, or is it similar to Landatar where you need to put in a good amount of time building a rapport with brokers until you get decent rates?

Over there you can pick your own Freight off the board but you also have a load coordinator that's also looking for loads for you as well the same time so essentially you have two sets of eyes looking for loads and you can pretty much do Your Own Thing...

Do they still offer flatbed training? I heard somewhere that you need to have prior experience now

You're not arguing in sure seems that way... I clearly stated that while Schneider is not perfect in any way and I've stated that before it seems to be an industry-wide problem... Not all companies are bad but there's just seems to be too many bad ones that need to be rooted out...

Not sure but I do have prior flatbed Experience but I'm pretty sure they do... My advice to you is just pick up the phone and call them and ask because too many drivers are unreliable as far as their information you might get five different opinions and you won't know which one is actually the truth I would just call

The latest sack 'o crap from Schneider is this asinine annual recertification road test and hand holding exercise. I've been trying to schedule this #### thing for two weeks now.

"Oh, it's too far out. Call back next week"
So I call this past Friday for a Wednesday appt. STILL "too far out", but he'd put a note in to remind himself to submit it Monday and asks me to follow up by phone Monday afternoon. I did so just a little bit ago.

"Well, I don't see my note...I'll have to resubmit it."

GREAT! I'm trying to plan my loads coming out of the house, and yet have to deal with this incompetent pile of cow dung. $5400 in my MMA or not, this might be the final straw.

I didn't say i net 130k a year. While i think that's doable, it would require more work than im willing to do at this point in my life. I worked five months last year. Not because there was only 5 months of work to be had, but because that was all i wanted.

And ya, i own a regular flat. But don't confuse that to mean i pull regular freight. If you see me with a load of 2x4s, bricks, or shingles it means that somewhere along the way i screwed up big time. Or someone else did and the customer is paying double what they are used to.

As I said. Not arguing. Just taking exception. I just think some are way too quick to write problems off to clueless office staff. Have you ever thought they think the same about you when they hang up? Not going to speculate about other companies because I don't know. What I do know is what's going on around here is clear, precise, and with intention. It's far from a clown show of incompetence. They know exactly what they are doing, and it will always be in their best interest. Not ours.

I can tell you one thing I do learn from experience and I'm very observant as to what goes on I'm not saying what they're doing is not deliver it but there's a lot of companies that have incompetent people in the office if you can't see that that's not my problem that's yours...
