Not trying to toot my own horn (wife does that for me).

But about 18 months ago I said this was coming and most told me if I didn't like sni to leave. That SNI wasn't doing these things nor would they. I also said the choice board was growing exponentially beyond feasible growth rates and we would suffer from all the exposure.
I also said the IPO was coming and that there would be more changes to push out those of us who've learned the system and make it work.

You see I'm not just some dumb Tennessean who like to drink shine and cut up, we'll yes I am however I also know a thing or 3.

Point is sometimes it's better to listen to those who've seen the way Schneider operates and not to bash those who try and give rational advice.

I like Schneider for the most part but I'm not blind or quiet either.

Guess I am trying to toot my horn in a way.

Lol, I'm just kidding I'm a shine drinking whining truck driver.
(Full disclosure I don't drink shine and operate trucks, cars or heavy machinery).

I believe a lot has to do with the IPO.... They're trying to put all the good paying loads on their trucks to pad their books to make it look like it's better for them than it really is so the investors throw a boatload of money at them

So lets say the IPO happens. Does that mean rates will go back up ? Or will they realize they can keep the program just like it is and put more money in their pockets?

    TennMan Thanks this.

You should look into a carrier with good direct freight and no company trucks. Any carrier with company trucks is under pressure to keep the company trucks profitable. When good freight gets lean the company trucks will get the good loads first.

A lot of guys think getting their own authority is the answer, and for some it works out. But for most, they just end up letting the broker keep a big chunk of the money instead of a carrier.
