I just hate the idea of being dispatched... someone not in my busines controls it... it makes me feel uneasy

Running for a buck fifty ain't making good money even if every thing in your life was paid off.

This type of mentality is what keeps rates in the bucket and driving them lower.

 

but you get base plates and permits.....soooooo.....jus' sayin'

 

I have noticed something about the load board and the amount of loads on there...

I completely agree there are less loads now than there were before..

I've also noticed, using the mobile app on my phone, loads 'disappear'....

I'll do a 50 mile search radius from my location. Say 200 loads come up, I'll do the search again, without changing anything, and only 50 loads come up...

I then have to shut down my mobile browser, restart the mobile app, login again, and all 200 loads are there again...

I've also noticed sometimes loads I star as favorites will disappear from my favorites screen and from the load board. Then they reappear later...

Anyone else seen anything like this?

Yes have this happen all the time with favs.

 

yes.....every day. Especially if one of your favorites isn't confirmed yet. Seems like when it gets confirmed, it goes into a black hole (also known as the company board so they have first shot at it). Then in about 5 minutes, it comes back up, (presumably, the company folks have 'X' minutes to pick it, then it goes back to the public board).
