Buddy of mine went through something similar on his 90's century. Acted like the batteries were constantly dead even though they showed juice. Replaced the starter and still was only a partial fix. Ended up being a bad ground so that the electric was shorting out through the block. Fixed the ground and it fixed the truck.

I have to check with SNI, Paccar told me they didn't know if it was covered by roadside assistance.

That thought has definitely crossed my mind. I asked about it to the last dealer and was told there are so many modules on the new trucks that it was probably one of those.

That kinda sounds like laziness to me. Granted there is enough electronics in these vehicles now-a-days to plot out and command a satellite through its geosynchronous orbit but still. Start cheap and simple and work your way up from there.

Yes I know this is how these places make their money it just chaps my ### to be robbed like that.

These dealers are highway robbery. You should get a refund if the repair they suggest doesn't fix the problem. Maybe then they'd look harder. I'm surprised someone hasn't sued one of these dealers for their incompetence costing someone thousands.

Since the truck is only 1 year old, isn't most of this covered under warranty?

probably is, but warranty don't cover lost revenue or make truck payments

It should be and unless they know there were some defective modules used, I would expect a ground to have come loose before the electronics went
