What's next?

 

Probably 5 more fuel pumps, water pump, trans cooler, exhaust, and a rep telling him how lucky he is to have a warranty while all these "Kinks" are being worked out, while he loses thousands in revenue and relay charges.
If I had to guess, that's what's next. Sounds like he is living up to his end of the agreement which is commendable and more than most would do.
For the love of God can we stop calling these problems Kinks. These cute little kinks become knots when there is no warranty or mechanics who don't know how to look any farther than the laptop in front of them.
Sorry about the rant. SMFH. It's outrageous. That's what's next.

 

Oh yeah I forgot. Meanwhile OOIDA is dillegently fighting elog regs while the EPA has us all on the side of the road with triangles out. Irony doesn't even describe it.
Rant over....I think.

 

Exhaust and trans cooler I paid out of pocket as well as 2 tow bills.

1600 in relay fees ✔ paid
Approx 40k in lost revenue ✔
Approx 14k in payments MMA etc✔

Next is move onto our other businesses.

We diversified about 9 years ago so all our revenue didn't come from trucking. Was always the plan to eventually get out and now that I can it's just a matter of time.

It's been a lemon.

 

You're a better man than I...I would have brought that truck back after the second fuel pump. Is there any lemon law for CMVs?
