If you don't have a pick up mt task in workflow, you can't pick one up. Doesn't matter if you are at an oc or not. I mean, you can pick one up at a customer but it won't be assigned to you.

If you have a pick up mt task at a customer and go to the oc instead, just put in the # you pick up.

I know someone at Mercer pulling van, his rates are comparable to ours.

Yeah but you need to bring your own trailer there or lease one.
Means all live load/unloads all the time as well then I'd assume.
So if it's "comparable rates" it's not worth it, imo.

Yeah but you will never have to utter the words BOX TEAM, not on hold for 45 min, not being reminded from your ICA about the driver he just termed, can talk on the phone, can make u turns, don't have to watch a STUPID quarterly safety video at an oc that you have to go to because they're to retarded to make it available on the website, have and annual violation/review form that can only be done digitally that requires your ss# and personal info so that it can't be completed over wifi on the road....I can go on and on.

I'm not a cheerleader for Mercer, but comparable rates does equal less bs...Just saying.

I would prefer to load and unload, if it meant I could keep the trailer. Not having to worry about some other colostomy bag forgetting that he had 2 flat tires, a missing pin, and a hole on the roof, and then me. Having to fix it.

My company doesn't do drop and hooks and I'm actually happy about. My last trailer I had for 2 months

Take two 1/2 inch wrenches, unhook fence gate from chain, open gate, drive thru, close gate, reattach chain. Takes about 5 minutes.

Just saw a P&G load that has been unconfirmed on the board since Wed/Thursday finally confirm just now...pickup time of yesterday 0800-today 1000...that's right, 2 1/2 hours before the pickup cutoff. Guess they couldn't get their company drivers to cover it due to the snow/ice and bad road conditions...BS!!!

sealevel, Cledus Snow and TennMan Thank this.
