He doesn't hate you. He loves you. Without you he would have to service those cheap custody with his own trucks.

I wish they would at least tell us what kind of fifth wheels they hate, so I can buy a truck with the right kind. Didn't even know it was an issue, they all seemed pretty similar to me. At least shneider used trucks will probably have the proper one already.

They don't like the holland with the bolt that sticks out the front of the fifth wheel plate.....If you send the trailer over the fifth wheel you might damage the bolt..(I guess)

The FW35 is my wheel of choice...

Why do you want to come here after reading what's been posted recently?
Is the cheap freight here that appealing?

I get these emails all the time too. I find the trucks to be on the pricier side, they are bare bone models with no features (not even suspension dump), and have cheap Mexican-made interiors. And Schneider is SOOO skimpy on maintenance.

If they can be haggled down by a sizable amount, at least you know the engine is reliable. Just plan on throwing a few bucks into it. I considered buying one and going on choice in the past, now I'm kind of glad that they banned these trucks or else I'd be faced with the current situation of low rates and being kicked out anyway due to not having Onguard.

I am looking at the used trucks page, and I noticed a weird thing - almost all the used cascadias in the $60k range DO NOT have engine brake. Is it some kind of a misprint or semantics thing, engine brake vs compression brake or whatever? Or do all their trucks just straight only have wheel brakes? Seems weird and even dangerous if that's the case.
