I don't think you'll last a year as a company driver
At Schneider before you drive everybody in the
Office crazy.

Prime Inc will train you for your CDL, then lease you a truck as soon as you're done with your training. No 6 month wait required.
Stevens also offers a similar option, putting you in a brand new Peterbilt at a high 85cpm rate.MachoCyclone and mindes Thank this. -
milehunter43, Home_on_wheels and Cat sdp Thank this.

And even consider buying some of those trucks i posted earlier for cash... That may be an even better route...
Heck after a year of company driving, with my family connections, i may just say forget IC Choice, and get my own authority... i have a list of brokers from my cousins already willing to give me freight (they are trying to get me to skip company driving and just go buy a truck now)... so i guess only time and experience will help me decide... regardless i am going company driver first...
The only thing i seem to like about IC choice is the amount of freight, and being able to make loads flow better on a day to day bases... That is not very possible to do as a carrier easily, vs having a huge point and click load board.
Like anyone here cares or listens anyway... you guys here just wanna complain, and shove your personal experiences down anyones throat who is new here... Later!
