I'm all fairness to "him" I was once in my young twenties and knew everything myself. And then I had to go BK in 97. Turns out I didn't know everything about anything, especially trucking.

A long long time ago they had a HUGE lawsuit which involved a failure of a Holland 5th wheel
Schneider actually won the suit but could not pass there losses from the accident on to Holland, Holland had an cap on damages from mfg defects that was clearly spelled out in there warrenty. After that Schneider got better lawyers and 20 years down the line ....well you understand how Schneider is now...

Lots of places have two dollar a mile freight without the extra bs and control. You are quite happy and content under them, and that's fine., but why do you have such a problem with those that aren't and would like to be treated as a business partner and not a disposable employee?

And almost every one of those guys would make more money getting a good company job. They aren't businessmen, they are truck drivers with a truck payment.

What gives you the right to decide who's a businessman and who's not? Maybe if you'd come down off your high horse you'd realize not everybody chooses to operate the same or feels like they're getting shafted if they don't make bazillions and are home every weekend.

I think that applies to all of us. While i didn't go bankrupt, it was a very close call and lots of stuff got sold for half of what i paid for it.

Can we ban this guy? No CDL no clue if Schneider will hire him and wants to be an IC when Schneider is going public. My god. Oh he has 20 to 40 to put down. Stupid.

I'm sorry to rag on him but he is clueless.... 6 months you can't be seriously thinking you have the skills.

Here I got a better solution get your CDL and Work for someone and after a year. You can come on my truck and team for 6 months. Which I will charge you 2 grand a month to learn how to do it.
