Last week i was so dead i was ready to eat the bullet and deadhead 500 plus miles then Monday it was like someone flipped a switch. I'm booked solid through next tuesday. Local work everyday till monday afternoon before heading north on a good load. Well good for a florida outbound load that lands me in a good market. Got just enough time off to pack the truck up for an extended stay up in the midwest.T_TRUCKER. Thanks this.

I thought some of you guys might be interested in this.
This is from a driver who brought his own truck on
At western flyer express.
I'm leased on with Western. I pick my own loads from Schneider, XPO, CH, coyote, ATS and a few others. It's a 70/30 split with no trailer rental fee. How much you make and where you go is up to you if you're bringing in your own truck.
If you're in an area where they have freight they'll offer it to you, but you don't have to take it. I will say that their freight pays pretty well. Their 500-700 mile freight pays really good because that's a one day run for me.
Seem to me he has a lot more options to pick
Loads from,but what do I know,I'm just a company stiff,lol.
i got that off the western flyer express thread.PoleCrusher and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
Yep Schneider isn't the only one... lots of companies offer this sort of program. I think sni was one of the first to offer it + a LP but they are definitely falling to the bottom as far as rates...scottlav46, PoleCrusher and TennMan Thank this.

Interesting. I know the guy that is the directer of recruiting over there. I've never seen him advertise this before. His latest advertisement included O/O with own authority but it was still a mileage deal. I may have to ask him about this.
-
The driver who said this said he brung his own
Truck on with them but was running under their numbers.
Sounds like he's pulling their trailer for free,
Getting the best paying loads wherever he can
Get them and splitting 70/30 with the company.
He doesn't have to pull any of the companies
Freight if he can make more elsewhere.RStewart Thanks this. -
Yeah, that's what you said in your other post. I've never seen them advertise that. All their advertisements for O/Os are mileage based. Thanks for the info.
