    Now that's good stuff there.

99% sure I'm going to get my own authority.
Hold up has has been me paying off all my debt so my credit profile looks it's best so I can get the best rate possible when I do finance the truck.
Got all the debt gone expect the Viper which is on a loan. Had a buyer last week who gave me a deposit but never followed through soo still working on that one.

I'm still doing ok here but I want better than ok like I used to get at Schneider. Sure, some weeks are great but it's ALMOST impossible now to put together great weeks consistently. I'm sure there's a handful doing it but before a person had to screw up not to gross $4k every week.

I'm coming off the best week I've had in some time. But then that was followed by some kind of "assigned to outside service carrier" message in the midst of putting together my weekend tour. And another episode of trying to explain something to my dimbulb ICA asst. Also found out my new ICA, once an assistant under my previous ICA, has gone from being a helpful assistant to an apothetic schmo in his new role. Nothing but a condescending SOB now.

Looks like the alignment issues on my truck have resurfaced, at least on one side. 132k on these steers, but will need to replace one pretty soon due to inner edge wear. Other one looks new.

Still working on my home-based deal. I've got 10 months to go.

    Advice on steers if interested.

132k is pushing the limit not because of tread issues but sidewall.

Sidewalls of steers take the most stress of all tires. I've had 2 steer tire blowouts in my career and they were sidewall related.

I replace my steers between 120 and 130 no matter the tread wear.

    Just a thought.

Very good point. I'll have to replace this one shortly regardless. I'll see if it's worth doing the other as well.

I'm not singling anybody out, but it got carried away in here with the hate a little bit. People are free to post what they want, but the negativity and the attacks on people that are happy are unwarranted. The unhappy ones are in control of their situations. If it's that horrible then change it, because no amount of forum #####ing will. :)

Unless your credit is iffy you should score a solid rate now. I carry a fairly large mortgage and I got the best rate that seller has seen, or at least that's what he told me. Keep in mind too that the Fed is talking kicking rates up a quarter soon too.

Those days are long gone, but that's every carrier, not just Schneider.
