Meanwhile at a pilot in hillbillyville, just watched a driver get out and piss on the parking lot in broad daylight 50ft away from the pilot entrance...

 

Im not even surprised anymore... some of the stuff i see out here makes that looks completely OK. What really aggravates me is drivers that throw trash on the ground right by a trash can... pee jugs all over the place.. and they wonder why we are treated the way we are. Reminds me, just yesterday a passenger in a white volvo was throwing trash out from his window going down the highway.

 

Hmm whatya know.... white volvo no judgment....no judgment..... i swear

 

Sounds like 14 ply tires. Steers can easily & safely last 250k miles.

Definitely worth the money. I'm getting an alignment Monday & having drives rotated (steers are a week old) & having centramatics put on drives.

I gave Goodyear one more chance on the recommendation of some owner ops I've talked to. I plan on following their routine & they are getting 200k - 250k out of the Goodyear G399 16 ply steers. For the price I paid (no discount from Schneider for me) I was willing to give them a shot. If it doesn't work out, oh well.

My previous company wouldn't let you use your maint account for stuff like that either. I suppose they're trying to keep guys from blowing all their money for when the "big one" comes if it does.

 

I have heard of getting 250k on steers. But on a Mexican-built FL, I'd never bank on it.
