Same thing happened to me on Friday. My ICA was out....again. Seems like he's there 50% of the time. Spent so much time on hold over 3 calls. The assistant tried to tell me it was my eta, but my eta was fine.

Between both cs and box, they screwed up my trips Thirs and Fri. I had just enough hours to do my two trips on Friday thanks to the Thurs screwup, now more incompetence fun for Friday. I couldn't get them to take the tasks off either, so I just put in the trailers I dropped at the other locations. I'm glad I did or I would still be sitting there.

I went from just wanting to finish my lease, to hanging on for 6-12 more months, to almost quiting on Friday. I really hate it here now.

I have always wondered one question...

If they can micromanage every driver in the fleet, how is it they can't micromanage the trailer fleet????? Mind boggling.

I have gotten 225k-250k out of my steers for over 1.5 mil. I have 110k on my current set with 16 on the depth gauge. Good tires will last if treated proper.

Just because they micromanage the drivers that doesn't mean they're any good at it. They're probably just as incompetent at driver micromanagement as they are at box planning.

Every spring van rates typically go up or down a few weeks after a change in flat bed rates. If that trend continues this year, you guys that are having difficulties getting a solid rate need to be working your way to the Ohio Valley.

On a different note I was at GB and the available IC trucks were 3 deep and counting. Every bobtail spot and then some full.

Either that's a lot of failures or a sign of how big they're trying to grow choice.

Either way that's a lot of empty trucks needing drivers.

Good Stuff. Thanks. A service advisor once told me to keep about 115 psi in the steers to minimize the "flex" on the sidewalls. He said low psi causes the sidewalls to flex and fail sooner.

I've always been told 105 in the steers and 100 in the drives
