It already has. I'm booked at exceptional rates for the next few weeks. Just under 1k bucks for 5 hour runs. In a perfect world i could do 1 a day but i know nothing goes perfect so will turn out to be 4 runs a week.

I have finally come to terms that alot of the issues with box isn't incompetence. It's IC abuse masked as incompetence to save the company dime.Sipesh, Cledus Snow and mxpx148 Thank this.

That is an all to common theme with SNI. SNI is all about growing the Choice program. After all, what better way to peddle heavy cheap freight onto ICs while the best/better paying freight goes to company trucks. A tactic not learned until one joins the IC/Choice program. ICs while competing against one another is plain-jane competition which is expected, ICs cannot compete with company load planners sitting at their desk computers picking the Choicest of Choice loads for company trucks!
Grow the program by sucking contractors (ICs) whom the majority will have no other choice but to pick the leftover loads on the Choice board after the best goes to company trucks. That is pure verifiable fact. Why? With mediocre loads at best left on the Choice board, the IC has little option but to elect from the leftovers just so he/she can meet their truck & operational overhead with little income leftover after settlement.
There are numerous problems going on at SNI. Bad/incompetent "Box Planners" the attempt to force ICs to chase or shuffle trailers at ICs expense and the feeble attempt to charge an IC a relocation fee if one refuses to chase after empty trailers. That is wrong by all accounts! Contract drivers are micromanaged every bit as much as company drivers, while little extra reward being an IC.
Customer Service is largely made-up of lazy if not incompetent people. My comments are not merely for the sake of just being negative but is completely supported with facts. Load information is often incorrect or incomplete at selection and often changes after load selection & assignment. All of which costs HOS, waisted time and money on rerouting and waiting. SNI has perfected a way of controlling the revenue an Independent can earn. SNI is the epitome of mega carrier one-sided greed!27butterfly, 48Packard, RootHog and 3 others Thank this. -
Couldn't have said it better myself! While some still do well here, they could/should be able to do a whole lot better, a whole lot easier if we weren't being dealt hands out of a loaded deck...anyone convinced otherwise is just fooling themselves and SNI has won! All I can say is glad I opted for the 1 year lease...can't wait until it's over...if I can wait it out that long.

This works both ways though, I know first hand how ICs have screwed Schneider when it comes to box issues. The few unethical ICs screwed the many ethical ones when they first put in the "out of market" trailer fees.sealevel Thanks this.
