2k though? Maybe, but I'd have a hard time walking away from that for cleaning unless he trashed the thing. So when you complete the lease if you don't buy the truck they pop you for the 5k? That's crazy but I'm assuming it's in the contract he signed.

And my finances aren't the same as yours. Don't you get tired of this same old discussion? I don't need 20k a month to pay my bills. You're comparing apples to oranges, and you do it quite often.

Man oh man. Dude check with Carlisle. Small o/o company in Kathleen. They run dedicated from Kathleen to Orlando and back, and Jonesboro and back. Nice lady who works weekends told me they where swamped with more loads then they could handle. It's a small group of ex and retired drivers from that facility. Just a thought for what it's worth.

I can totally see them charging him the repositioning fee but charging him a $5000 fee to "remarket" the truck? That's basically extortion.

All over that invoice it's says "lease termination". Maybe he didn't complete the lease like he says OR they misclassified him as a term.

Also, he mentioned his lease was up in August but he had until September to turn it in. Maybe they renewed his lease from their end and they consider him as defaulting on the "new" lease. Either way the guy should get an attorney.

Carlisle is the name on the door. Lol. The older guy with the red coranado with black tanks is the guy I think you would want to talk too.

Schneider knows a driver can not afford a lawyer to fight them.

$5000 is a hefty price to write up those "buy our trucks!" spam emails.
