Are these rates the reason why an SNI IC blew past me doing 72-75 in a construction zone today south of Indy? Have to turn them miles to get any revenue apparently.

Nah, he's probably just trying to make up time to make his appointment after being on hold with support shift for hours and then being sent on a wild empty chase in the wrong direction!

I mean it is in "Tifton", might as well include that apart of the Florida market at that point.

I'm not sure how those guys make money running that fast. It cost me too much, made me work way too hard, & chewed up my 70 hour clock too much.

There's no way steers can last 250 k miles. Yes 16 ply is the best but with the roads of today plan on 150k at best. And that's with Centramatics and 3 axle alignments every 6 months.

The other day on a 700 mile drive at 70 to 75 mph I Tire Passed my pressures were up 16 psi outside temp was 80 degrees. What I am saying the tire game is hard to figure out. But I feel we need to figure it out there's 8 to 10 grand in tires on your rig. I don't have the answers..... But am looking for them

Wait they only pay you $1.60 to run 2000 miles?!?!?!? Say it ain't so Opus, Say it ain't so! DO they even bother cutting you a check afterwards or do they just dig $1.60 in change out of their pocket to give to you? Does lint count as your bonus? :D

Sorry I had to with how it was worded.

You could be right, only time will tell. But I don't run over 60 mph so maybe that will help them last a little longer.

I just find it hard to believe 150k is all in going to get out of them. My first set lasted 120k without centramatics, never had the truck aligned, only one tire rotation, & air pressure check about once a month.

My tire care procedure now is tire pressure check daily, centramatics, & alignment & rotation every 6 months. You're saying all this extra care & expense will only net me an extra 30k miles on the tires? I have a hard time believing it, but we will see.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.
