    Is it possible that what's going on has nothing to do with the IPO and has everything to do with how many times Schneider has given the customer such horrible service, it's become a necessity to lower rates? Maybe there have been so many customers going to other carriers, Schneider had no choice but to drop rates just to keep the accounts?

    I think that's part of it. Its hard to compete with carriers that pay their drivers and contractors peanuts if the service does not justify a higher rate.

    I've heard a few company "drivers" say they don't care if they're on time or not. I've heard other drivers that upon informing their dbl of an issue were only told to update their eta, with no apparent concern.

    Then you have ICs that book loads as soon as they confirm without even looking at the appointment times, much less trip planning. But when you have 100 ICs competing for 1 good load, what do you expect?

    The rest of it is just simply greed. Why not take a bigger piece of the cake when you have hundreds lined up waiting to just be able to beg for scraps.

    ...so, as the mass exodus continues, it would seem Schneider is starting to feel it. I got a phone call this morning, offering me until 2022 to put the collision mitigation system on my truck. Great, but I already have another job. I'm curious to see if others amongst us get that call, too.

    His exact words were "We may have jumped the gun on the collision mitigation requirement a little bit." I mean, again, that's great, but it's too late for me. @Cat sdp I would have to see it in writing if I was going to consider staying. I hope for the sake of all those who don't want to leave, they get this offer. The whole thing seems weird, right?

    It's clown show central around here. They send out silly letters then trip over themselves trying to deal with the reprucussions of what Loffgrenn said in front of Congress. They can't even decide what to call us. I don't care what they do with the CMS. The crazy bean counting and metric chasing is enough for me.
