    You just broke the hearts of hundreds if not more drivers who read these threads thinking Sni was thinning the herd. If freight truly booms next thing you know gliders will be ok. I had heard a couple of weeks ago that Mike Bethea was working on a way to stop the bleeding so to speak.
    Now if we can get this double brokering loads to themselves under control we are cooking. Just watched a load I have been running for 5 years drop 20¢ a mile for apparently no reason. They are making this #### up as they go. Including the rates.
    I have always despised people who bash on their way out and it's what I'm doing. But dang. They are dropping rates on regular and consistent freight like it's going out of style in a market that is supposedly in the upswing.

    Yeah, if they cut all that #### and start cracking down on Company/IC drivers delivering late and breaking/not reporting broken equipment, things would go much better over here

    I think if and a big if;

    They fixed the customer service issues in GB

    The fixed the box planner issues

    And

    They paid a decent amount to move trailers.

    Most all the complaints would be taken care of.

    Now as drivers if we'd;

    Report damaged and OOS trailers correctly.

    Deliver and pick up as CORRECTLY scheduled.

    And learn to deliver freight with a yes attitude ie... company driver mentality.

    Then Schneider would think we were great drivers.

    So I don't see any changes happen I ng.

    I really do hope it turns around. Even though I'm outta here, I was pretty happy with Schneider for the first several years. They do have a lot of good drivers, and a lot of you have become friends over the years. I adored my management team on the dedicated account in Topeka. Maybe, in landing with the small company I'm going to, I'll have come out ahead, but I'm not leaving Schneider with only bad memories. Actually, the place I'm going pulls Schneider containers sometimes, so Schneider doing well is still in my best interest.

    2022 would me much less of a kick in the teeth. Actually makes a heck of a lot more sense than a mere 18 months.

    Still gets under my skin that this company can accept a truck that you have built new from the ground up, then a year later tell you that it no longer qualifies, even though it was fine when you were in the process of the build and investing the money into it.

    That would at least allow me the option to stay where I am, while actually getting the ROI on the equipment I bought.

    I believe they thought the program was so good that drivers would trade in their trucks for one from sfi

    Spoke to a dealership where I was getting my PM done. They said it would cost around $15,000, if they could even do it and make it work in an aftermarket addition. In my case, probably not at all. My truck is less than 1 1/2 years old. I wouldn't trade it for a new one, especially not one of the sfi trucks. Not for all the tea in China.

    You realize how much tea there is in China? And how much tea the younger generations are drinking? Even if you only get one years crop for making the switch, you could pay off the SFI truck, use it in a demolition derby, then find a nice beach somewhere and drink iced beverages with little umbrellas in them.
