She told me its being required for all oncoming drivers and she literally got the email today so she was calling all her drivers that are signed up for orientation.
It's in reference to the the new laws that went into effect on July 8.

I've been here 7 months, never once pulled a load of liquid in totes.
I don't even recall seeing loads like that on the board.
Anybody else?FatDaddy Thanks this. -
I once pulled a Coca Cola load for my current company that were liquid totes in a dry box. So I'm assuming it would be those type of loads.

IC's not required to have Hazmat. I don't have it. What's the point?? I'm not picking hazmat loads. Now, company drivers might be different.

I had a past EIN number also. I couldn't find my original. I called the IRS and they mailed me a new letter. It takes about 10 business days to get it so you need to call them right away.Last edited: Jul 29, 2015

No, it has to do with HAZMAT loads..
-
No. Any liquid over 1000 gallons hazmat or not will require tanker endorsement.

that's 1000 gallons total, or over 119 gallon in one container. That means one tote bin (UBC) means you have to have the endorsement. Tanker is easy, just questions on a test. 25 IIRC.drvrtech77 and FatDaddy Thank this.

It has to meet all three requirements. At least one container over 119 gallons, containers full, and over 1000 gallons total.
