Waiting lines are gone and the driver pool is shrinking. If things pick up enough they will allow you to pull freight with a horse.
What happened to sni choice should be a case study of what happens when your britches get to big. It's funny how fast things change when the shoe is on the other foot.

 

Is there really no waiting list anymore?

 

I did hear an ad on Sirius XM for choice about a week ago.

 

They've been spamming tanker choice ads on XM a lot.

 

No. Not even close. They are struggling to hire on the company side and have decided to open the flood gates on choice to compensate. Problem is they figured out a way to drive choice into the ground and are trying to go back to the same well. I think it will work out eventually for the ones who hang in there but it's almost like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

 

They haven't changed the cms requirement, if that is what you mean. It has just been pushed further back. Subject to change of course. Unless I misunderstood and you meant to lease on a truck, but it is all coming down the road somewhere. Assume they won't further change their minds on the date at your own peril.

 

Wow, struggling on the company side also?! I know they just started the recruiting incentive again, but I thought it was just to really amp up ICs, not that there wasn't a line around the corner anymore.

 

I don't know if there is, but I got called yesterday and I applied about June 2016. I don't know if that means they're starting from the back working forward or vise versa. And that was to bring my own truck on, not flease.

 

From my understanding, isn't Schneider putting driver facing cameras in trucks? If they are, they are doing it at the same time SWIFT announces they are getting rid of theirs.
