Sounds great over at Mercer. Glad you're liking it after being there for a week...

It would be nice to see a breakdown of ALL your expenses, which I imagine might include trailer rental, tolls, etc etc?...

Higher rates are awesome, as long as they are not offset by higher expenses. Then it really all just washes out...

Thanks for sharing your complete experience. It helps other drivers make an informed decision...

    Roll on...

We pay all tolls...trl on flatbed side is lease purchase, vans are strictly rental no purchase...fuel discounts are double what sni is...we get cost + at every major chain...van rates are comparable to an extent...flatbed rates are much higher..

As far as the fuel discounts...you folks are getting hosed...badly...im getting at least double the discount sni is giving and that's at every major chain...for them to keep that up is wrong in so many ways...

Cat sdp and mxpx148 Thank this.

All companies have their own way of shafting drivers. I've had discussions with several customers since going on my own about detention and how they pay, and for SNI to make guys wait 6 hours is straight robbery. They're making a fortune off detention when it happens.

ok, so I ran 300 gallons at .28 discount, which runs out to be $84.....and your tarp load would have been $84 more, (according to you). For me, you can keep it. On a weekly schedule, that runs out to a bit more than $10 a day. Jus sayin

I agree completely... Schneider hoses it's ICs with the fuel discount program...

Which is why I haven't used Schneider's fuel card in two years... NASTC is my fuel card of choice, I always receive a discount of 60 cents or more off of the pump price... And they offer many more programs including discounts on maintenance at TA/Petro and a national tire account....

    To each his own....

And I'm not busting on drvrtech77, I am honestly wanting to know how Mercer stacks up against Schneider when ALL income and expenses are calculated...

As I've been saying forever, Schneider works best for me right now for where I live and how I run...

    But things can always change...
