I run wharehouse to wharehouse turn and burn 100 percent driver load and unload. Suffolk Va, to Cleveland. When production slows I move to the brokerage side. It's a good job overall. But make no mistake it's a Job. Best job I could ever hope for I guess. But these people are sketchy.lol. Honestly just tired of the rat race in general. It's sad but the older I get I realize I just want to relax and be happy. No matter what the rate is. To a extent of course.

I just heard on the radio that where giving $20k sign on bonuses for teams at Warkins Shepards. At what point do you realize their might be a problem if one has to give a sign on bonus that large to get drivers.

 

They're offering 12k for experienced bulk drivers at some of the OCs. Probably takes 6 months to a years to get it though

 

Hate him all you want,but he's talking the truth.Ic's aren't really getting 65% of the real rate it's being double brokered.

 

Its nothing we all didn't already know. Simple solution, if you don't want to haul the load for the rate offered, don't haul it.

If you think you can get better w/o SNI, get your authority and go negotiate with that shipper yourself.

But seriously, what mental blockage will not allow this dude to let go of SNI?

 

It isn't just sni, he is a full blown lease basher.
