It's Denver, a black hole. I've found at Schneider running regional is better than going into any black hole 99% of the time.

I ran under someone else' authority for a few mos before I got my own authority and started booking my own freight.
I used to refuse crap loads like that all the time and the dm would tell me, "trucking is a business of pennies." To which I used to reply, "depends on whose pennies you're talking about...my pennies are a lot less than the owners pennies..."drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
That place is closed now they built a new warehouse on the old Fort Gilles it's nice. They have overnight parking.

I have a good friend who is just getting going with his own authority. He pulls flatbed out of the Denver area. I'm not impressed with the rates he's getting. My dry van averages on the west coast are considerably better.RStewart Thanks this.
