Well I took my truck in today to have little things fixed and get its 250,000 check up. I'm home until Monday so while I am at the dealership I ask if I can look at the new Cascadia. Sure deal do you want to drive it ahhhh yep. Let me get some keys says Jake. The pictures don't do it justic. This rig is AWESOME IN EVERY WAY. The drivers lounge is laid out really nice. The fit and look was like a high end SUV. Drove like a dream quiet. I can't stop thinking of her. Go drive one!

Just had a call from a broker, Appleton, WI to KCMO for 2800 on 620 miles.. Unfortunately I just put my trailer in the shop and couldn't run it.. Still great money out there..

I'm doing intermodal here in Denver. I'm not making a ton of money, but I'm paying the bills and I'm home every night. Funny that I can make as much taking a load from Denver to Pueblo as Choice ever offered me going from Denver to...well, pretty much anywhere 1000 miles away. Heck, I'm making more doing this 5 days a week than I was making on the old dedicated run with Schneider working 6. That said, it kicked my butt the first few weeks for sure and I've dropped 30lbs since March. So far, I've been able to put my big old W900L everywhere the daycab guys go!

Well, I'm doing great here at Sni. No complaint with cheap freight. More for me. I am working twice as hard to get those $4mi loads that other companies are getting. Where is FW?

I pulled a 62 mile load the other day for $650.00 took 3 hours from the time I hooked to my trailer. Reefer 1 pallet. There's lots of these kind of spot loads. You have to keep the DAT board up. I often see loads pop up and you know there going to pay. I usually do 10 to 11 days out home 4 or 5. When I am home I really look for them especially if the little lady has to work. I do NOT pull anything reefer for less than 2.25 per mile. PERIOD.
