Just did a country wide search on DAT.

Posts within past 3 hours, loads picking today or tomorrow.

TOTAL reefer load posts = 39,390

TOTAL reefer truck posts = 821
148 of which are just in CA. California has 18% of the entire country's reefer truck posts.

In total 48 loads posted for each 1 truck posted.

    SingingWolf Thanks this.

It broke down again, I told SFI I was done they were getting it back, they took it and put me in a Freightliner and I'll finish the lease in it and probably buy from outside dealership and do my own thing or closer to it.

Haven't followed things that closely but I do know you've had problems with PACCAR. How many times did it break down?

Fascinating post. You don't mind working, and you know what it's like to be poor. Alot of people become millionaires in this scenario. It's something I wish I had understood in my twenties.

No. 40k isn't good money. But i don't know anyone worth a salt only making 40k to drive a truck full time. Every company driver i know that has both experience, and a decent resume to get a decent job is making 60k+.
