If and when I get burned it's usually due to a Schneider screw up or poor planning on my part... not from people running my "hot routes".
There's always other avenues to do well, the key is in my opinion is to be flexible and take lots and lots of notes.
I made a bad decision going to Oklahoma last week when really if I would have sat for half a day I would have done better for the week. That only was enabled as a possibility due to a previous customer holding MTs hostage.
So I made less money but had very very easy driving and got to see Oklahoma and Mississippi which pretty much never happens.
Some have been complaining about rates and not as many loads.. and some have been doing very well and pulling off their best ever weeks recently.
The driving is the easy part, pulling everything together to where it fits beautifully is the challenging part.
I'm still learning, today I learned that even Sundays can be truly terrible on I95 regions close or around the Northeast. I ran out of hours driving 450 miles for the day.. which screwed me. I thought oh it's a Sunday, good weather and etc so it should be an easy day and I'll have enough time... lol wrong.

Using an IPAD with Schneider technology isn't the happiest marriage lol.
You don't have to use a laptop, you could book loads from a phone.
However like others have said a laptop is better.

Dunno what you missed what I said I ran for about $1.50 last week in areas I don't normally run.
I think Sadwar has me beat in the numbers game... just saying.
I'll be in New Jersey on Tuesday though so the battle is on! [IMG]

FW let's think about your weekend for a second.
    1. It was a weekend day.
    2. It was I-95
    3. It IS summer.
    4. Kids are out of school and families take vacations.
    5. Beaches are close by.
    6. It was I-95.

Personally, I'd say given the conditions and the miles made you had an excellent day.

Usually weekdays have been horrible for me but this Sunday was worse than most weekdays I ever had.
    :dontknow:

I guess I just have to trip plan for it always being terrible around here...

I just got live loaded a 200 lb load.
This thing could fit in the trunk of a Corvette but they're moving it in a 53 foot van! go figure that out :confused2:
