Are you paying off your truck faster/sooner while you're banking this money?

Don't get so caught up in the moment that you don't plan for the eventual downturn. A paid off truck will go a long way during leaner times.

There was less trucks obvously due to Christmas but loads didn't slow down as much causing the ratio to go even higher.
What I saw on the board today was way beyond any other day leading up to Christmas. Not saying it will stay this extreme forever but the elog aspect is having a clear impact.

I'm saving and doing what I need to do.
I'm not exactly sleeping in a moving truck for the joy of it either.

I said it would likely stay up the rates that is because of the economy..they will eventually level out but stay higher than have been in the past..

Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about...the rates are going up...yes they will level out but due to the economy improving under this current administration they will stay higher...I've been seeing my rates jump for the last 6 weeks of 2017 and have no reason to believe it's a fluke either...

I had similar thoughts, didn't think it would last. So I've been waiting for winter to hit to see how it played out. Now with the new tax bill, I believe its got some legs with the corporate tax cut, you're gonna see more commercial construction and better employment numbers.

Man that is nuts. I'm gonna have to get off the couch and go contribute to global warming.
