It is amazing watching all this unfold...

Not only are truck rates and load to truck radio breaking all time records but trailer sales just hit an all time record as well.

No longer can they use the holiday excuse, finally starting to openly admit elogs are a huge reason why the industry has been rattled.
Another article admitting in some areas rates have "doubled" and brought up elogs as well.

ELD Mandate, Driver Shortage Spur All-Time Record Trailer Orders in December

US freight rates are extraordinarily high

This explains why the clock on my radio shows a different time than my phone after I run cross country & back. Hmm... Thanks for solving that mystery. Lol

Schnieder offered me a position as a jet set dedicated for Walmart, I take it you like them as a company.

    Oh sure, they're fine.
I can only imagine the horror of being in a truck for 3 weeks then getting in a plane, though. It's really not that much fun.....actually, the truck is better.

I don’t know for a young person it might be a cool gig, build up air miles and see a different part of the country. Definitely not for someone with experience, or with commitments that required them to be home.

Do they pay for extra baggage allowance so you can bring your clothes and stuff? Or do you pay that and give them the miles? What an outfit. But you get to be called a jet-setter though, so I guess its worth it.
