Post yours and I'll post mine.

Earliest I can post a stub would be Friday when I get home.
    I average about 8 stops a day and 2600 miles a week.

If you have worked at WS before then you'll have an idea.
Some days I do 12-17 stops.

Ok, well let's do the 'rough' math.
You said you're home every weekend. So, that means you're running 2600 miles in 5 days.....520 a day.
Now, while its not a stretch to believe that one might run 520 miles a day, it does press credulity a bit to say you run 520 miles a day, presumably in a relatively urban environment, and have the time to make somewhere between 2 and 20 stops......live unloading furniture.

Personally, I think you're full of it too. I used to be the manager at FedEx Freight and while I did have a line haul driver make those numbers, he also sold about 2 or 3 weeks worth of vacation and burned his 70 every week.

    Post your check.

Lol. Bad drivers always blame the company. I pick the loads up in Kearny. Stops are upstate NY.
Most customers are 5 pieces or less. Open doors, back in, drop pieces, hand over bills, move next stop to tail, grab signed bills, pull up, shut doors move on.
Average stop is 10 minutes or less.
I unload the furniture. Sometimes customers help but I don't depend on them.
Each stop pays me $20. If they have anything to return it's another $20. Even if it's a footstool. That's $40 for 10 minutes of work.
One area I deliver to has 3 customers in one building. Dunk and Bright, Sears and XPO. Just switch docks. 1/4 mile down the street is Raymour and Flannigan and behind them is Rent A Center service center.
2 miles down the road, mattress warehouse.
2 miles from there Browns moving.
Jump on I90 go 5 miles to ESI. 3 miles from there Smith Interiors.
Jump on 690-81 head to Watertown NY, Morrison's, Massys and Watertown moving then it's off ogdensburg NY and off duty for the night.

The order of the stops usually adds to the mileage.
I don't do appointments. A company rep gives 24 hours notice so they know we're coming. There's rarely a wait.
When I get empty I return to base. I don't back haul. Ever.
The next load is ready before I even return.
Sometimes the trailers are full, sometimes it's 15 pieces.
    I run 3 loads a week.
I live where the customer's are.
Closest one is 3 miles from my house.

It's funny to me how unbelievable it is for people to think that companies actually give trucks miles.
I can drive two miles before the eld switches to drive. I can make multiple stops while "on duty".
I'm on dedicated areas and I know the roads. I haven't owned a GPS in years.
I've run the same exact areas and nearly all the same customers for 8 years.

And it doesn't take me 15-30 to bump a dock (if I even have to bump a dock), it's one and done.

My next load just came up on my eld. It's 533 miles, 5 stops and 26 pieces.
The stops are all within 5 miles of each other and 2 are in one building.
I'll complete this in one day and be back here to grab the next load.

I'm not the only one that runs like this. We have two more out of this terminal that run less miles but way more stops than me.
We also have a Fontana driver that I know beats me money wise.

The money is good here but you have to work for it.
Trip planning and physical labor are major parts of it.

You should probably spend less time posting and more time going.
These days we have more guys taking pride in wheel shine than work ethic.

This I know, schneider will find a way to screw up your pay. I saw it twice in 4.5 years with Intermodel. We had numerous local guys making $80-85 year and SNI for some reason doesn't like drivers making too much money, so they "adjust" the pay and poof...... There goes $20,000. I really hope they don't do that to the WS drivers, but if past performance is any indicator, it's only a matter of time. There are lots of guys on this forum who have experienced it first hand. We're all very skeptical when it comes to making money with schneider.

48Packard, drvrtech77 and TennMan Thank this.
