    I do, but I'm always watching van rates just in case I ever want to go back to swinging doors.

    LOL, no man, don't do it, you know coming down to our level is just not right....

    But, yeah, that's a pretty crappy spot for short haul. The only thing I see to stay in the area would be to dh to Wisconsin where there's some stuff going to Joliet for posted for $1000. 450 mi or so for the trip so not completely awful.

    Not much else unless its bigger miles.

    Not only this, but the other industries are picking back up meaning many will once again be leaving the trucking industry for their original jobs, as they always do. Construction, oilfield, etc...

    This will open things up even more for us.

    Brokers post load rates on load boards to get the low hanging fruit (owner operators who can’t negotiate and will take whatever is offered to them). Almost alway lowball rates.

    This is especially true on Mondays, and during the morning hours of everyday.

    Nothing says sleeper berth means sleeping. It's area of truck with DOT approved bunk.
