FW was in the sleeper when his driver hit the deer. I saw the DashCam big deer. Priceless look on deer face as it was a second from impact

His family to not even know where he is at or even what is happened to him something tells me something possibly bad happened which I hope not or he chose to just go into hiding for whatever reason

 

those are two things that dont go together. each are all consuming in their own right.

 

Do you have (or could get?) contact info for his driver?

 

I just knew his drivers first name.

I don't even have words for this news.

Was momma pretty certain on the loss of the trucks or did it feel like speculation?

 

Put it this way when she answered the door and I said I am Captain Dave (usually don't say Captain anymore but I thought maybe Lance had talked about me ) she thought I was there to deliver some bad news. It sounds like people are calling the house/looking for him bill collectors banks etc. Once I produced a business card she relaxed. She said the trucks were gone I asked her how she knew this and she said the banks called and the mail etc. I asked where is his Volvo car he just bought she said with him she thinks. She didn't know where the Viper was. There stood before me a mother with little hope in her eyes. As a parent I feel for her. Nice place etc. I wasn't prepared to hear this also. I know the Kenworth was due to be turned in April 6. I'm going to see if my SFI guy will tell me if it has been. I know the Weatern Star was getting 17k worth of deer repair in Ohio I'm going to call some dealers up there and see if is gone etc. I don't know what to say.

He's probably chilling on a beach in Bora Bora or something, counting his money, watching all this and laughing. At least that's my hope

 

You must of missed the part about his mother and all the rest. Banks and colections calling ect.

 

No, I didn't miss that part. I've known people that have just sort of disappeared. Married, had a successful business (or so it appeared), nice house. He just up and left one day. Decided he wanted a new life. I was able to track him down after two years. So it happens. I sincerely hope he's ok though
