The first truck they tried to lease to me had a qualcomm in it and 2000 miles on the odometer. I wonder if some other person had that truck and came to the quick conclusion that it's a dead end? That's actually the first thing that popped into my head when I got into the truck.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this. -
I've never been a l/o or o/o but I've paid attention to these guys here and that math dont cut it.
You seem on the ball so you have a better than fair shot at doing what you need to and better once you learn the lanes.
I would suggest reconsidering NE though. Running around there for a week or so you can do well. Thats been my observations anyway. its getting back out for decent that can be a challenge though.SingingWolf, gentleroger, JOHNQPUBLIC and 1 other person Thank this. -
The NE sucks. So does Tx and AZ.

I'll make this short. Glad to help if you have questions. Was SNI IC 4 1/2 years. I live in CA.
Ran west as IC a lot. It's doable but you will run more miles and make less money. In a business like this (because you are paying for truck expense) you need to do the opposite as much as possible Midwest IL, IN, WI, OH do circles here or dip to the south KY, GA, TN, MS, and back up will treat you better plus it is still somewhat flat. NE use to pay really well however last time I was out and about it got harder and harder they loss a few accounts there so might have something to do with it. Might be better now. Don't know but in general I would try and stay in the middle of the country. When it's time to go home book it out at least 5 or 6 days in advance if possible those loads were disappearing quick last time around.
As a matter of fact, in my last year I found more money was made by staying booked out a week or more at a time. Pro's and Con's to that! If a load cancels you gotta start from scratch. Anyway so much for making it short!Hope it helps!
