Time off is overrated.

 

Right not saying you can't take time off or have a life but your mind is always on that weekly payment.. And after being off for a week if you don't put nothing back you won't get much of a check the following week. It's definitely lot harder..I don't want people leasing trucks thinking it's just so easy and you have the freedom to take off when you want.. You do but it's gonna cost you big time

There is only needing to make 1200 so only working a day or two and there is using 1200 as a baseline expected wages for a full weeks work. Two entirely different things.

 

If folks can't manage finances i don't care where they get the truck from...that's the one big problem..

Well what do you recommend me doing being a company driver slave and make 1100 a week anyway lol? Atleast ill be working towards a truck making company wages. I dont have 10k laying around to finance a truck unless they take american express credit card but then interest on the card on top of payment lonemountain seems like a scam with leaseing i can walk away anytime costs 5k but they give 60% discount. So like 2k to walk away. I dont think id get a brand new truck from what i gather i can get a 2016 2 years of payments and a 10k balloon that i can keep leasing to pay off.. no interest.. walk away. I dont get it sounds like a good deal to me but i may be missing aomething. Get a truck through dealer then your stuck that truck goes to #### you camt walk away and what a 5 year loan

 

With that mentality you don't need a truck. You should stay a company guy. Anytime you incorporate what ifs or I can just walk away you're not ready for this business.. People like you are making the industry decline.. Take the time save your money and continue doing what you're doing.. Your mentality isn't caught up to your hopes and dreams just yet

 

So you buy an egg get a loan with interest lower payments though egg cracks to a very expensive level then you have to fix it no other option you have a loan and care about credit.. in my case i buy an egg cool higher payments not so cool but hey no interest and if the engine fails i just walk away bamn just saved that 10k 20k down payment but hey to each his own i think about risk to reward not just what im making week in week out but my truck will be paid off earlier and still under warranty then i can spend a couple years running making bank saving then trade in plus down payment.. plus i dont plan at ataying at schnieder going to landstar or traveloko like everyone else
