I thought company drivers were forced dispatched by a dispatcher.......

Either way their pay isn’t percentage so that pay posted doesn’t make sense ....$$$$

 

Company (Legacy) drivers went away some time ago

 

I’m currently running Denver to Dallas and back for 5900.00. Or 3.69 a mile out 4 to 4.5 days. Reefer 31 on way down 45 on way back. Gravey. Then some weeks a will do a few local runs which will pay big as I wait the day out. I have zero stress zero worries all great roads. Good shippers and receivers.

Basically the same thing I'm doing. Florida to ky/oh/in and reload right back to florida. South bound is loaded up rather heavy. 30k to 45k. But northbound is practically empty. Most times under 1k.

 

Yes sir. Unfortunately though too many trucks are still running cheap.

 

Which means every body else's rates will climb as well.

 

Van freight is hot in the Midwest too. You can fall out of the truck and get 3/mile right now. I'm usually around 3.50-4.00 all miles...

 

Anyone seen my friend Lance? I think he is dead. Yep, I’ve been drinking the shine. Not the good stuff @TennMan has. It’s been almost 6 months no @freightwipper I have traveled all over no luck. Anyone seen him?
