Hey guys (and ladies). I am sorry to bump in on your thread, but I have not been on here in years so it erased all my karma and won't let me PM people until I post more. I am very interested in going to the choice program. It was actually my intent back when it was brand new and I first got my CDL, but I started with another company to get some experience first and they have been great so I stayed. Several years later, they are now irritating me some so it might be time to make the move.
I think everything through 100 times before proceeding so I have no doubt that I will succeed but that has become an issue. I am not getting the information I need to make an informed decision. I was hoping that one of you guys can help me. I am looking for real world examples of freight in/out of my area (and preferably to my favorite places.) Would somebody be willing to do a couple quick searches for me? Please PM me if you would like to help! -
Where are you

There's a bunch of stuff coming out of CR...daily. How you get to Cali I couldn't tell you. But in and out, you're in a great spot.

138 confirmed shipments between now and 7 days. Highest revenue out of Muskateen was around $1650 @ $1.75. Higest rate was above $5.

Does Schneider do any type of referral bonus for ICs? I'd be happy to put your name in if (more likely when) I make the jump. Really, it was DFO that got me hooked on the idea of Choice, but it looks like he might not be around anymore. -
Nah, don't worry with it.
Know this, going out and coming back home should be fairly easy and profitable. Everything else in the middle can be neither.
If you grew up in Iowa, you likely grew up with the same values and work ethic that I did; it will serve you well.
Do your best. Work every day. And you'll be fine.
Check back and let us know how you're doing.
Good luck and best wishes.SingingWolf Thanks this. -
