They see it as Schneider nickel and dimeing them. Just like the intial brouhaha over the compant car.
Personally I think it makes sense - simplifies which tolls are paid for and which aren't, simplifies the accounting, etc. However now the "I got me a Red Cascadia " crowd has to think more to figure out if a load is truely profitable.

What is the policy regarding taking a trailer home for home time, if it is going to be for more than a couple days, are they going to tell me to drop it somewhere?
And also I think I read that they have a rule about not taking an empty TRL more than 100 miles on a deadhead to get a load.

Has Anyone ever had to pay the $300
Relay fee for breaking down and needing to relay a load. And I’m guessing one would not get any percentage pay of the linehaul even if it had been hauled halfway to the consignee already? or what.
