They see it as Schneider nickel and dimeing them. Just like the intial brouhaha over the compant car.

Personally I think it makes sense - simplifies which tolls are paid for and which aren't, simplifies the accounting, etc. However now the "I got me a Red Cascadia " crowd has to think more to figure out if a load is truely profitable.

What is the policy regarding taking a trailer home for home time, if it is going to be for more than a couple days, are they going to tell me to drop it somewhere?

And also I think I read that they have a rule about not taking an empty TRL more than 100 miles on a deadhead to get a load.

    Thanks ,

You'll have to read the bcoa for details, but yes if you are down for more than 34 hours you will be told to drop the trailer. If it is at your house some company driver may show up ringing your doorbell at 0700 saying "move your truck so I can get my trailer"

Has Anyone ever had to pay the $300
Relay fee for breaking down and needing to relay a load. And I’m guessing one would not get any percentage pay of the linehaul even if it had been hauled halfway to the consignee already? or what.
