it would be interesting to know just how bad Schneider hurt your feelings to make you so butt hurt.

Read and article that Schneider was going to make a big inter thermal push. Choice may end up short hauling out of rail yards.........

As I recall he was running a day cab on a local account. He ran into issues on a load and had a choice - skip the last stop and just head to the barn or go to the last stop and run out of hours. Dave tried a middle ground and asked OPs to bring out another driver to finish out the run. OPs did something stupid (I can't recall what, but I remember it was stupid), Dave made the last stop, logged out of the QC and drove back to the barn. DBL had a conversation with Dave about logging out and driving/violating HOS, and it didn't go well. This was at the time that Dave's Dad was in his final stretch, which from my own experiences makes dealing with outside stupidity/drama much worse, so Dave's antipathy to Schneider is understandable.

 

I didn't think about van drivers being offered inter modal freight. As of right now there is a Holy Line of Demarcation between the two divisions, I know we have outside carriers (running their own DOT #) hauling our cans, but to the best of my knowledge no ICs.

 

Well you know something @gentleroger, one thing I learned from my ex wife is, if you're pissed off at anyone for more than 24 hours, its because you want to be.

Man, there's outside carriers pulling vans too. I like to think they're just doing local stuff.......
