Is that off the new board?
-
Yeah.
For the sake of clarity and example, for me, (and only for me), a good day to the truck was $700. A good week (7 days), was $4500.
A good week paid miles was in the $1.50 range.
This week it was $1.90. (I know @Dave_in_AZ will think I'm a wuss, but I'm fine with the money.)
So, I'm seeing freight I've never seen before. Right now I'm under a load that pays $2.66 on 822 miles......I've never seen that or anything approaching that, (on a long haul), (no touch D/H on both ends).
BUT, it seems like the customers I used to haul for regularly, have gone away.
So far, I've got nothing to hate.
So, I told you I'd tell you what I found, now I have.dwells40, thelushlarry, T.Rucker and 6 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the update. I am waiting to be put on it, signed what I needed to sign and sent it back in early afternoon yesterday after saying I'd switch in the morning. So hopefully they get me on it sooner rather than later. Looks the same so far today, but I haven't logged out at all today. If it's not switched to I am hoping that it will be on Monday so I can start seeing new freight to run. That $2.66 load sounds really promising to be honest. Like you I've never really seen anything around that price. Maybe closer to $2 a mile for that distance, but even then its here and there.
How does the board look compared to the choice board? Pretty much the same? -
For me, its a bit different. Shippers that were pretty dependable have been substituted by random folks with pretty awesome paying freight. Which seems a bit odd.
You'd think you'd get both.
So far, so good. No complaintsOutlawd19, Dave_in_AZ and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
Good to hear. I am looking forward to getting on it and seeing what's new and seeing these new places with good paying freight. Thanks again for the update on this.

Mr Facebook claims to be grossing 6-7K a week.......
-
I like $1.60 to be the minimum.
Perhaps it's time for us to move over to Schneider.
Our dependable agents aren't down to being able to be counted on one hand, I only need my thumb and index finger now.
Today there was a new driver, definitely a foreign national of some sort, with a brand new, I mean brand new Cascadia picking up at the same place I was.
Hazmat load.
Had no idea where to set his tandems. New truck # 429XXX. I mean Casper is 423XXX.
So the only reasonable question to ask now is........."What in the F is going on?"Speed_Drums, oicu812, thelushlarry and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not eligible for rehire........:-/

hope it works out long term for you all's benefit. just wonder if this isnt going to be a bait and switch thing after a while.
Cat sdp Thanks this.
