I live too far north I think. Thanks for the info though. Gaylord isn’t exactly closeBumper Thanks this.

Roehl might be an option for you. I think they have a terminal in northern Michigan so they must have freight up there.Wickedfire77 Thanks this.

Iron mountain is the only Michigan yard. That’s farther than Grand Rapids. But I’ll keep it in mind. I have family in Marionette, WiJOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

US Xpress has a Dollar General account that goes up that way. It's driver unload but if you don't mind the physical work it's good money with home time every week.
JB Hunt has a Meijer account that covers some stores up north. It's no touch freight with the same 2 days off every week. The DC is on Lansing. They may or may not hire that far away from the DC but could be worth looking at.Opus, dwells40 and Wickedfire77 Thank this. -
Not sure about dedicated account in Michigan, might want to talk to a recruiter but since you said you're trying to restart your driving career, I just wanted to add, so far, I have to admit that it's a great company to get back to driving if you don't have recent experience. They are good getting you home when you're supposed to, Pay isn't the best but they'll get you home.Infinity and Wickedfire77 Thank this.

Update
Felll out of the truck 8 weeks ago up in Syracuse NY. Really hurt my knees. After some thinking I have decided to sell the truck. I listed it Monday morning and by mid afternoon it was sold for $10,000.00 less than I paid it for it years ago.
I loved the road. Made a lot of money. Paid off 2 trucks and trailers. But I’m 56 and it’s time to slow on down.
I have enjoyed all of you here on the TTR. Keep the wheels rolling
Stay Safe Out There
