What I find amazing is that the rest of the country has equally important stuff to do and yet it gets done.

All efforts that produce results due to fast speed are INSTANTLY nullified when the "oh $#;+" moment arrives...just sayin'.

The rest of the country crashes just as much as the northeast.

True. It's just here in the NE, there is more of a sense of urgency to do it.

Called into Schneider... waited over 30 minutes on hold... lady answers says "hello, hello......? I can't hear you please call back"! angry9:
Next time around only waited 22 minutes for an answer and finally got done what I needed to.
It's astonishing that a company operating in the billions of dollars in yearly Revenue is either that screwed up or that cheap to not hire enough people to answer the phones in the timely manner for the drivers.
From 5PM-8AM is the worst along with weekends.

In Florida there's only one season... cheap rates all year long!

I've heard all the horror about long wait times. I bet I haven't been on hold for more than 10 minutes ever. And I mean maybe one time it was 10 minutes. I must be special.

Depends maybe where you're based out of or ICA extension . My ICA is from Charlotte... although today I was informed I must have been rerouted somewhere else. I said "I spoke to Nathan earlier and he said he'd do so and so which he didn't". Was told "there's no Nathan out of here, you must have been routed elsewhere."
Who knows man, phone calls/ICAs etc are probably just as much of a crap shoot as much else here.

Not 100% sure but the way I think it works is there's ICAs in Charlotte and Green Bay (soon Phoenix I heard). They each have a certain number of ICs assigned to them in a group. I have an ext # to reach mine but during Business hours m-f when I enter in the number I might only get connected to my ICA half the time at best.
Maybe I just have bad luck idk but that's last few months has really been hell with wait times.
When I first started working here the first few months I got POS trailers with messed up at least once a week.
Now lately I can't remember the last time I had an issue with tandems.
Strange how things can change like that, at least some luck has changed.

I've had the same luck as well, haven't waited longer then 10 minutes, usually under 5 or less. Maybe you are calling in on the low priority number so they make you wait?
