Yeah, that eBay car is only 1001 HP. :)

I was ready to click the buy it now, until I noticed the immediate $100 deposit. Gonna have to wait till payday.

Folks here suggested you get a beater car to use on hometime. Cheap A to B kinda car given its limited use.

Yes that would be a smart move but this is more so a toy for me than anything.
I was for a while very cheap, especially when I was a company driver.
I'd schedule my home time to be get off Friday and go back to work Monday that way I could rent a car from Enterprise for $10 a day. Thus my car expenses were crazy low. Being I rarely went home it worked for me.
When I was a company driver I worked my rear end off and saved as much as possible, my home time was simply catching up on my sleep debt. Now I'm doing better and want to have more fun.
If and when the thrill wears off I'll sell it. It's not exactly economical but I'd rather have the experience vs having more money in the bank when I'm dead lol.

Sorry if I missed it, what did you get it for? Its has been years since I've seen one in person and even then, they are usually thrashed pretty hard. That looks #### nice

I've seen a few flatbeds at OC's just sitting around. Never seen one in actual use.

Careful with the electric fences. I walked backward into the one at the Fontana OC once while checking the lights of a trailer. One hell of a jolt!

Well with that area the OC is in be thankful for the fence.

I've been robbed at the Pilot up the road before. So happy be have an OC there so I never have to park at a Dallas truckstop again

It wasn't exactly cheap. When this generation came out in 03 it was only convertibles all the way up til 06.
Stock 03-04 models go for around the mid $30s to low $40s but I didn't want a convertible nor a stock. This one is supercharged and over 800 HP.
One thing that is very strange is the gearing, you can pretty much hit 60 in 1st gear and if you drop it into 6th at 80 MPH it runs at 1500 rpm!
